Karen Soldatic

Ct170250-headshot Karen SoldaticKaren Soldatic has been a long time advocate, activist and researcher within the area of disability studies.  Her primary interests have been in the area of Neoliberal Global Restructuring and the implications for disabled people within varying spaces and places.  She is particularly interested in the possibilities of how, as disability activists and actors, we can begin to reconceptualise our understandings of disabled bodies so that disability rights movements can build alliances with people’s seeking reparations for disability creation within the transnational scale as a potential mechanism to intervene in global inequality and power.
