Disability Action Guatemala

About DAG

Disability Action Guatemala is a program set up by The Critical Institute in collaboration with Integra, Malta. It provides access to emergency health care and temporary poverty relief to disabled people in chronic and extreme poverty in rural Guatemala. Working collaboratively throughout all stages with local level Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) and other trusted partners, the program alleviates barriers that traditionally bar access to emergency health care for disabled people in extreme poverty.

We also provide critical advocacy support and capacity building to partner organisations with lobbying key stakeholders (e.g. health care centers, hospitals and municipal authorities). Read more- Visit website
